This is more complicated/time consuming than your usual graphic hack, and these ports have more issues than just the sprites. I really don't know how much time could it take for Krysan Thyme to make such modifications, but even then at least for me it seems too much work for such little pay-off. I think is great to try to fix problems in games to make them more fun/better, but when you have to do more work than the original developers, I feel something is wrong. But you can argue that that's how I see it because these ports look so incredibly lazy to me that I have no desire to play them. The developer posted a new blog today, discussing what’s in store for Halo fans that live to work on mods. And it looks like 343 Industries is wasting no time in addressing them. but has since been greatly updated and extended by the TexTools Github Group. With Halo: The Master Chief Collection heading to Steam, there’s probably questions galore about the potential for mods.
